Cosmos is an upscale salon, established in 1981, that continues to attract new and repeat customers, as well as prominent personalities. The large and beautiful salon, unique customer care, technical expertise, creative flair and constant hunger to be in current trends continues to set Cosmos apart from the pack. Cosmos Salon is well known in the Valley as the stylist to many local TV celebrities.
In 2015, Cosmos Salon and Day Spa added the medical spa services of LaVida MedSpa was was rebranded as Cosmos Salon and Med Spa. Cosmos still offers the cutting edge, trendy hairstyles, nails, and facials, but added exciting new services such as Botox, Painless Laser Hair Removal and Facial Fillers and many other state of the art medical procedures designed to help everyone feel and look their best. One thing you will quickly notice is our experience and continuing education makes a difference:
- All stylists working at Cosmos are experienced graduates of top Cosmetology schools. No matter how much previous experience they may have had, stylists must go through a minimum of a 3 month Cosmos apprenticeship in order to learn the latest techniques and be mentored by our Creative Director, Christopher Berarducci. Often it may take more than three months and even over a year before the stylist reaches the high Cosmos standards and is allowed to take their own clients. The training doesn’t stop there, Cosmos brings in industry educators to teach the latest techniques to all Cosmos employees throughout the year.
- All Botox and Facial Fillers are administered by Master Injectors that receive continuing education in the latest techniques including the use of cannulas – most spas aren’t trained to use cannulas. Cosmos MedSpa is a sister spa to LaVida MedSpa and together are part of an Allergan (makers of Botox) buying group that is ranked #1 in Arizona and #5 in the country by Allergan. We also received the Galderma (makers of Dysport) Presidential Award in 2016. QUICK TIP: To ensure you are receiving authentic Botox and Dysport always ensure your spa accepts Brillaint Distictions (Allergan) and Aspire (Galderma) points from the manufacturer and ask if their injector use cannulas when providing Facial Filler injections. Although cannulas are more expensive to the provider and require specialized training – they are considered much safer (our injectors can explain why) and reduce the chance of bruising.
We like to focus on your needs by providing top quality services while having a few laughs along the way as well. Welcome to our family….
